Pine Grove baseball opens season with split at Pontotoc Jamboree

Pine Grove baseball looked sharp and poised for a breakout season in a pair of games at the Pontotoc jamboree on Saturday.

The Panthers lost a close game to 4A powerhouse Pontotoc and cruised to a victory over Baldwyn.

The Panthers pitching staff combined to only allow 3 runs on the day.
