Paragould, Ark. — Blue Mountain Christian continued its perfect start to the 2025-26 season Thursday with a doubleheader sweep, pushing its record to 17-0. The Toppers combined power hitting, disciplined baserunning, and steady pitching to maintain control throughout both games.

In the first game, the Toppers jumped to an early lead with a grand slam by Karen Wisher in the first inning. They added runs in the middle innings and finished with 11 runs on 11 hits. Anna Harrison contributed key run-producing at-bats, while Aspen Teague, Mikaylah Fuqua, and Kelsey Camp helped extend innings and keep pressure on Crowley’s Ridge’s defense.

Madison Montgomery pitched five strong innings, allowing three hits and striking out seven. Crowley’s Ridge managed two runs, but Blue Mountain Christian’s early offensive surge and solid defense kept the game in the Toppers’ favor.

The second game followed a similar pattern. Blue Mountain Christian scored in each of the first two innings and broke the game open in the middle frames, ultimately winning 9-1. Kelsey Camp and Bre Ramsey homered, while Gail Wisher drove in two runs with a double. Bri Langley pitched five innings, allowing one run on five hits, and kept opposing hitters off balance.

By the end of the day, Blue Mountain Christian had outscored its opponents 20-3. The team showcased explosive offense, reliable pitching, and confident defense. With contributions from throughout the lineup and momentum building, the Toppers remained unbeaten.

Now 17-0, Blue Mountain Christian continues to set a strong early-season standard. The team’s depth, consistency, and confidence mark its strongest start in program history.
