Gail Wisher pitched a complete game for Blue Mountain, working through seven innings against a strong Lions lineup. In game two, the Toppers bounced back quickly, scoring two runs in the first inning and adding another in the second. They extended their lead with a three-run fifth inning to win 8-0 via run rule after five innings.
Anna Harrison led the offense in game two, going 3-for-4 with two RBIs and two runs scored. Laklyn Nichols added two hits and scored twice, while Neely Barrier drove in two runs. The team totaled nine hits and showed patience at the plate. Bri Langley pitched a five-inning shutout, limiting Freed-Hardeman to two hits and earning the win.
