Ripley gets sweep of division rivals Corinth, New Albany to remain undefeated in district
Ripley picked up a sweep over their biggest division rivals in basketball action this week.
On Tuesday, the Ripley Lady Tigers won against division rival Corinth 52-17 in a game that was never in doubt. Ripley then took a 50-34 victory over New Albany on Friday to move to 16-3 on the season (7-0 in district).
In boys actions, the Tigers got a pair of wins over their oldest rivals with a 62-44 win on Tuesday against Corinth and a 60-38 victory over New Albany on Friday. The win moved the Tigers to 19-1 on the season (7-0 in division).
Ripley is back in action Monday against Tiahomingo County in an away contest.
