Blue Mountain Basketball Dominates Region 2 Class 1A All-Division Teams; Lady Cougars Advance in Playoffs
BLUE MOUNTAIN, Miss. (Tippah County Sports) — Blue Mountain High School basketball is making serious noise across Region 2 Class 1A this season, with both the Cougars and Lady Cougars earning major postseason honors and continuing to shine in the Mississippi 1A playoffs.
A total of seven Blue Mountain players were named to the Region 2 Class 1A All-Division Team, highlighting the strength of the program on both the boys and girls sides.
Three Cougars Earn All-Division Honors
On the boys side, Chance Venson, Jordan Hall, and Trey Houston were each named to the Region 2 Class 1A All-Division Team.

The trio played key roles throughout the season in leading Blue Mountain through competitive region matchups and helping solidify the Cougars as a respected program in Tippah County sports.
- Chance Venson provided leadership and steady production from the perimeter.
- Jordan Hall anchored the inside game and brought consistency on both ends of the floor.
- Trey Houston added athleticism and defensive intensity that fueled the Cougars throughout region play.
Blue Mountain head coach Britt Lindley reflected on the impact the three seniors had on the program.
“Going to miss these three guys next year! Couldn’t ask for a better group of guys to lead our team.”
Their All-Division recognition places them among the top players in Region 2 Class 1A and caps off a strong season for Cougar basketball in Tippah County.
Lady Cougars Shine with Four All-Division Selections, Including MVP

The Blue Mountain Lady Cougars placed four players on the Region 2 Class 1A All-Division Team:
- Adrianna Bolden – All Division Team
- Precious Hall – All Division Team
- Dynasty Prather – All Division Team
- Beiga Foote – All Division Team and Division MVP
Leading the way is Beiga Foote, who earned the prestigious Region 2 Class 1A Division MVP honor — a testament to her dominant performances throughout the season and her leadership in guiding the Lady Cougars.
With four players recognized, Blue Mountain’s girls program has firmly established itself as one of the top teams in Region 2 Class 1A and a major force in Tippah County sports.
Lady Cougars Advancing in 1A Playoffs
The Lady Cougars’ postseason success continues as they have advanced to the second round of the 1A playoffs, keeping their championship hopes alive.
