Lady Cougars off to best start in school history

The Lady Cougars of Blue Mountain have had a tremendous showing to start the season.

How good?

According to our records, it is the best start in school history at 9-0.

The 2017-2018 squad started off the season 0-2 before rattling off 11 straight wins, a school record.

Blue Mountain already has wins this season over defending 2A state champion New Site and defending 3A state runner up Kossuth as well as 2A power Walnut and 4A Corinth.

A talented set of guards led by Teuana Foote and the inside play of Niyah Cook have the Lady Cougs rolling.

Coach Regina Chills and her squad have victories at the West Union invitational, the Biggersville classic and the Blue Mountain Invitational under their belt early this season.

Definitely a team to reckon with in 1A.
