Falkner boys have won their last two contest, defeating rival Walnut and getting a victory last night on senior night over South Pontotoc.
On Tuesday, the Eagles went north on highway 15 and came away with a 50-46 win over Walnut. Falkner was led by Cody Johnson and Cam Smith with 14 points each.
On Thursday, the Eagles hosted South Pontotoc on Senior night. Falkner came out firing on all cylinders and picked up a 68-52 victory. Cody Johnson led with 20. Chauncey Jackson put up 19 and Cam Smith contributed 13.
The pair of victories moved the Eagles to 16-11 overall.
Falkner plays HW Byers in the opening round of the district tournament at 5 pm next Tuesday.
