Loyola tops Blue Mountain Christian in road contest
New Orleans, La. — Blue Mountain Christian faced Loyola in an SSAC road game Thursday night. The contest ended with Loyola winning 96-66.
From the opening tip, the Toppers played with pace and purpose, trying to establish rhythm against a Loyola team that gained early momentum on its home court. Blue Mountain Christian stayed engaged in the first half, answering runs and pushing the tempo despite a challenging conference environment.
In the second half, the Toppers continued their effort, battling possession by possession. Loyola maintained its offensive pressure down the stretch to secure the victory.
Esrael Yant led Blue Mountain Christian with a double-double, scoring 15 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Michael Hill added 13 points, while RJ Robinson and Jonathan Baker each scored 12 points, contributing consistent scoring for the Toppers.
Blue Mountain Christian will play its final regular-season game against William Carey on Saturday.
