It’s a busy Saturday for Tippah County sports fans! Today features a full slate of games across multiple sports, with our local teams stepping onto the field, court, and court for exciting matchups.
Kick off the day at 9:00 AM with girls volleyball matches at various locations. Ripley Tigers face Tishomingo County in Iuka MS, and Pine Grove Panthers clash with Belmont Cardinals in Belmont MS. Pine Grove also hosts Biggersville Lions at home, while Falkner Eagles take on Biggersville at Falkner’s home court. Walnut Wildcats compete against Itawamba Agricultural in their home game, and Ripley Tigers face Itawamba Agricultural away. Followed by more action, Pine Grove and Belmont square off at Pine Grove, and Ripley entertains Tupelo Christian Prep at home. Walnut faces off against Tupelo Christian in their home gym, too. Later in the afternoon, the volleyball excitement continues with multiple head-to-heads at 2:00 PM. Pine Grove battles Falkner Eagles at Pine Grove, Rakry visits Walnut Wildcats in Ripley, and Walnut Wildcats head to Ripley to face Walnut Wildcats. Meanwhile, Falkner Eagles travel to Pine Grove for another showdown, and Walnut Wildcats host Tupelo Christian Prep at home. These key matchups promise plenty of community spirit and spirited competition.
