For the fourth straight season, the Lady Panthers claimed their district title. This senior class has won 122 games in their high school career to go along with 3 state titles. Pine Grove is 25-8 on the year. They have won their last 7 games by an average margin of victory of 33 points.
The opponent: Tupelo Christian
TCPS travels to Pine Grove as the #3 seed in district 2-1A. They have a season record of 22-9. The Lady Eagles defeated Vardaman 53-38 to advance to the second round. Ainsley Hale is their leading scorer with nearly 15 points per game.
Keys to Victory
The Lady Panthers senior class are among the most experienced and winningest groups in the state and in Tippah County history. Loren Elliott leads PG with 16.5 points per conest while Bella Jumper and Karlie Rogers each are right under 10 points per game.
