Pine Grove opens 2020 with dominant win at Baldwyn Invitational
Pine Grove raced out to a big early lead in their first game of 2020 and never looked back.
The Panthers had perhaps their best shooting performance of the season as they took out Myrtle 90-61 at the Baldwyn Invitational.
Pine Grove jumped out to a 28-9 first quarter lead behind 17 first quarter points from Jack Hudson.
The second quarter was more hot shooting, this time from John Bullock who put up up 5 first half three pointers for 17 points.
The Panthers were able to cruise to the victory and move to 14-2 on the season.
Jack Hudson led with 27. Jon Bullock finished with 22 and Carson Rowland had 17.
The Panthers next contest is a key district matchup against in county foe Falkner on Tuesday.
