Ripley Golfer takes home the win at first professional golf event
Ripley resident Zach Pritchett is no stranger to success on the golf course.
The young golfer who has played hundreds of rounds at local golf courses went on to have a stellar collegiate career, racking up top finishes at courses all over the country.
It should come as no shock to those that know him, then, that the lifelong Tippah county resident found success as a professional golfer.
Pritchett, competing on the Emerald Coast Tour, shot an 8 under par 208 to claim the Pensacola Open Perdido Bay Classic.
“I was excited to compete in my First pro tournament and get the win! God gets the glory,” Pritchett said of his taking home the victory.
His next event is next week in Montgomery Alabama at Lagoon Lake.
