Blue Mountain Christian Finishes Second at Harding Invitational
SEARCY, Ark. — The Blue Mountain Christian University men’s cross country team finished second at the Harding Invitational on Friday, highlighted by a seventh-place performance from Jonah Barnhardt.
Barnhardt completed the race in 21:17.60, earning six points for the Toppers. Lukas Dykes was the second Blue Mountain Christian runner to finish, crossing the line 11th in 21:56.30. Samuel Aguilar finished 21st in 22:50.90, followed by Austin Ellis in 25th with a time of 23:11.10.
Jacob Waller and Erick Flores rounded out the team’s top five scorers, placing 27th and 29th in 23:41.10 and 23:48.10, respectively. Braxton Enzor finished 39th in 25:10.90, with Lelan Boulden taking 41st in 25:16.10. John Thomas Draper and Samuel Hutchinson finished 45th and 49th, clocking 26:20.90 and 29:57.60.
Blue Mountain Christian’s strong showing led to their second-place team finish at the event, according to meet results. The team will look to build on this performance as the season continues.
