Blue Mountain Christian University’s women’s cross country team finished second at the Harding Invitational on Friday in Searcy, Arkansas, according to the school. The Toppers posted a strong team effort in the event.
Ella Shepherd led the way for BMCU, finishing sixth overall with a time of 19:45.80. She was the first Toppers runner to cross the finish line and earned six points toward the team score.
Kaedyn Wilson also contributed a top 15 finish, placing 15th with a time of 21:01.10. Ally Moore finished 20th at 21:36.90, followed closely by Jorja Kate Mooneyhan in 21st at 21:44.60. Ruth Hutchinson rounded out the team’s scoring runners in 24th with a time of 21:58.50.
Lauren Paul finished 32nd overall in 23:52.10, while Leah Montgomery placed 35th with a time of 25:15.80, helping the Toppers secure the runner-up position in the team standings.
Blue Mountain Christian’s full results include Shepherd in sixth, Wilson in 15th, Moore in 20th, Mooneyhan in 21st, Hutchinson in 24th, Paul in 32nd, and Montgomery in 35th.
