Walnut routes Middleton behind stellar rushing performance
Walnut used 450 rushing yards to cross the border into Tennessee and defeat rival Middleton 44-14 Friday night. The win moved the wildcats to 3-1 on the year.
The offense found the endzone early and often led by three TJ Luellen first half touchdowns.
Middleton had no answer for the dynamic trio of Luellen, Khris Perry and quarterback Kevin Hurley who all eclipsed the 100 yard rushing mark.
The Wildcats are averaging 43 points per game on the season after their victory. They have a home non-conference game against Coffeeville for homecoming this Friday night.
