Walnuts Wesley Cox is the week 3 Tippah County Sports player of the week after he cruised to 136 rushing yards and 4 touchdowns in the Wildcats victory over HW Byers. Cox, a Walnut Senior,  was listed as a player that Walnut Head Coach John Meeks said to watch this year before the season started and he has not disappointed in helping lead Walnut to a 3-0 start.
