Local sports broadcasting legend leaving radio to form digital broadcast company
Local radio broadcaster Michael Harrison, who has covered Ripley Tiger football and Tippah County basketball for 25 years on local radio, is moving on to form his own media production company.
He will broadcast digitally via new media platforms and his own site, CMHSports.com, covering primarily Ripley and Pine Grove.
Harrison released the following:
“I’m excited to announce this new direction in my sports broadcasting career. For the past 25 years I have had the honor and privilege of calling high school sports for our local radio station The Shark. Today, I’m launching a new internet based broadcasting business. We will expand the coverage available to our local schools, specifically Ripley and Pine Grove. Our goal is to provide a quality broadcast, both audio and video. We’ll have more details about our future plans coming soon!”
