Ripley girls look poised for big season after showing at jamboree

The Ripley Lady Tigers were a good team last year, making a run through the playoffs that ultimately fell short of their desired goal: a state championship.

If the season opening jamboree held this past Saturday is any indication, this years team could make the jump from good to great.

The Lady tigers return all of their squad from last year. They’ve seemingly got it all: ball handling, defense, outside shooting, terrific post play. They have added key pieces that will get big minutes this season.

Their mix of youth and veteran leadership were on full display.

One thing is clear: be ready for a battle if you’ve got the Lady Tigers on your schedule this season.
