Falkner gets back on track with win over Ashland

The Eagles put on an offensive showcase and played tough at the line of scrimmage in their Friday night victory over the Ashland Blue Devils, coming away with a 53-12 win in the 370 battle for the belt. The win moved the Eagles to 4-3 on the year and 3-1 in division play.

Falkner was led on offense by three touchdown passes from Lane Elliott to TJ Colom. The Eagles arial attack was complimented by 3 ground touchdowns, 2 from Elliott and one from Elijah Moore. Elliott also completed a touchdown to Moore to end the night with 6 total touchdowns.

“We still gave up some big plays, but our guys were in position. We go back to work this week with another big game this week,” Eagle coach Quess Hood said after the game.

Falkner is back in action this Friday night with a home game against division leading Smithville.
