Pine Grove gets run rule victory over Walnut to complete season sweep
Pine Grove got a run rule victory over Walnut on Friday to complete the season sweep.
After taking the opening game in the series 14-3, Pine Grove got a 10-0 win in walk-off fashion on Friday.
Gabe Roberts launched a leadoff homerun in the bottom of the 5th to claim the victory for the Panthers.

Pine Grove got 5 runs in the bottom of the 2nd and continued to add runs while they held the Wildcats to just a single hit in the contest to move to 10-2 on the year.
Jacob Hopkins went 2-3 at the plate to lead the Panthers with 4 RBI. Hopkins also struck out 6 in 5 innings to take the complete game win.
Carson Rowland added a pair of RBI and Peyton Cornelius had a double.
For Walnut, Cole Devore had the lone hit. Eli Akins struck out 4 on the mound to take the loss.
