Ripley girls set for home playoff game after runner up district tournament finish
The Ripley girls went from playing for their season not to end to hosting a first round playoff game all in the span on a few games.
The Lady Tigers made a nice run in their region distrct, defeating Houston to keep their season going and then pulling off the upset over #2 seed South Pontotoc to guarantee themselves a first round home game.
Ripley fell in the championship to the top ranked 4A girls team in the state, Pontotoc, by a final score of 77-41.
The Lady Tigers will now take on Mooreville in Round One at home.
The Lady Toppers are the #3 seed from their region after defeating IAHS on Friday in the consolation game.
Ripley will recognize their seniors starting at 6:30 and game at 7 on Monday.
