Cody Presley leads Blue Mountain to series victory, earns SSAC Player of the Week honors
Montgomery, Ala. — Cody Presley continued his strong play for Blue Mountain Christian, earning the SSAC Baseball Player of the Week award for the second time this season, according to the conference.
Presley played a key role in helping the Toppers win three of four games last week, including a series victory over Faulkner. He finished with a .533 batting average, 14 total bases, two home runs and 10 RBIs. His offensive production provided a spark for the team and helped generate momentum in SSAC play.
Head coach Taylor Clark praised Presley’s impact. “Cody is the kind of player every lineup needs,” Clark said. “He’s consistent, competes every at-bat and thrives in big moments. What stood out this week wasn’t just the numbers — it was how he elevated the guys around him.”
With Presley leading the offensive charge, the Toppers continue to build momentum as they advance deeper into the season and push for success in conference play.
