Tippah County Junior High Tournament underway at RHS Event Center
RIPLEY–The first round of the 2023 Tippah County Junior High Tournament tipped off at the RHS Event Center, Monday night, with four games. On the girls’ side, Falkner and Ripley advanced to the second round. Blue Mountain and Ripley junior high boys also advanced with wins.
The junior high tournament continues on Thursday night:
(G) Chalybeate vs. Falkner, 5 p.m.
(B) Chalybeate vs. Ripley, 6 p.m.
(G) Walnut vs. Ripley, 7 p.m.
(B) Walnut vs. Blue Mountain, 8 p.m.
The Tippah County Junior High Tournament finals will be played on Monday, Jan. 16, beginning with the girls’ championship game at 6 p.m., followed by boys. Title winners will advance to the 5-County Tournament at Northeast Mississippi Community College in Booneville.
Chalybeate girls and boys are defending junior high champs.
