Cougars use 25-0 run to get big win over Walnut
Blue Mountain started slow against the visiting Walnut Wildcats on Tuesday, falling behind 10-2 early.
Luckily for the Cougars, it’s not how you start, but how you finish.
Blue Mountain went on a 16-0 run between the first and second quarter and then on a 25-0 run in
the third quarter to move to 4-2 on the season with a 63-32 victory.
With the win, Blue Mountain is now outscoring opponents 49-39 on the year.
The Cougars were led in scoring by David Peterson with 16 Jaden Hall scored 15 while Trent Gray added 12.
In girls action, the Lady Cougars fell 80-53 to the Lady Wildcats to fall to 2-4 on the year.
