Lady Panthers take last home game for illustrious senior class
Pine Grove seniors have three games at most to suit up as a member of the Lady Panther basketball team. The end, as they say, is near.
They made the most of their last home game, taking out a talented TCPS squad 59-44 in the second round of the state playoffs.
The Lady Panthers have made a habit of winning over the four year’s that this group of seniors have been in high school.
Four district titles. 46 straight district wins. They’ve never lost a playoff game and, of course, the three gold balls they have earned for state titles.
The Lady Panthers defended home court yet again. This group has played 50 home games over their high school careers. Their record? 47-3.
By any measure, they are among the most decorated senior class in Mississippi history.
It’s on to the 3rd round yet again, needing 3 more wins to add to their 3 gold balls.
One thing is for certain. These Lady Panthers are going to make the most of all the time they have left wearing the red and white.
