Blue Mountain, Pine Grove, Ripley and Walnut will converge on the same cross-country course Thursday, Sept. 24, with varsity girls racing at 4:15 p.m. and boys at 5 p.m. in the Topper Trails High School Classic at Blue Mountain Christian University.
No completed varsity result was verified for Wednesday, Sept. 23. The next listed events put distance runners alongside a busy volleyball slate before Friday football. All times below are Central; winter and spring dates fall in 2027.
The Topper Trails 5K races use the university trails opposite its baseball-softball complex. Falkner’s next listed cross-country meet is the Oct. 22 regional at New Albany’s BNA Park/Tallahatchie Trails: girls at 11 a.m., boys at 11:30.
Falkner volleyball takes a three-match winning streak to Wheeler at 6 p.m. Thursday, revisiting an opponent it beat 3–2 on Sept. 15. Walnut, 22–4 overall and 6–0 in district, visits Hatley at 6; Pine Grove visits Biggersville at 5:30. Ripley’s next listed appearance is Saturday’s Tippah County Tournament at Pine Grove, with opponents and times unposted.
Thursday’s golf listings send Walnut to Corinth at 9 a.m. and Falkner to Booneville for nine holes at 2 p.m.; Ripley lists nine holes in Ripley without a time.
