Pair of Falkner football players make All-State team
In a record setting year for aerial offense at Falkner High school, two of the biggest weapons in Head Coach Quess Hood’s offense were recognized as All-State football players.
Senior quarterback Lane Elliott was the first team 1A All State quarterback. Elliott lead all QB’s in his classification in numerous statistical categories. He completed 122-207 passes this season for 2320 yards and 29 touchdowns. He added 349 yards and 7 touchdowns on the ground.
Sophomore wide receiver TJ Colom made 2nd team all state and was one of only 2 underclassmen in the all state team. Colon rushed for 594 yards and 4 TD while catching 49 passes for 942 yards and 12 TD. Colom also had a kick return TD.
