Kaylee Estes Named 1st Franklin Financial Tippah County Sports Female Athlete of the Year
Kaylee Estes has been named the 2025-2026 1st Franklin Financial Tippah County Sports Female Athlete of the Year following an outstanding multi-sport career at Walnut High School.
A four-year contributor for the Lady Wildcats in both volleyball and basketball, Estes built a reputation as one of the top all-around athletes in North Mississippi through her leadership, consistency and defensive play.
In volleyball, Estes earned numerous honors during her senior season, including Tippah County Player of the Year, Division Player of the Year and Miss 2A Volleyball. She was also named First Team All-State and selected to the MAC All-Star Team. Estes will continue her volleyball career next season at Northeast Mississippi Community College.
Her success carried over onto the basketball court as well. Estes was named Division Tournament MVP, Tippah County Defensive Player of the Year and First Team All-Division. She also earned recognition as a SportsMississippi.com 2A All-State selection.
Throughout her career, Estes played a major role in the success of Walnut athletics and leaves behind one of the most decorated athletic careers in recent Lady Wildcat history.
