The Falkner Eagles picked up a split in a pair of games at the Peggy Bain tournament at Alcorn Central, picking up their tenth win of the season. They defeated host Alcorn Central and fell to 5A Lafayette County (MS) go claim their tenth win of the season, matching their win total from the previous three seasons combined.
The Eagles won the opening game against Alcorn Central by a score of 58-51 in the first game. Cam Smith les all scorers with 17 points while Chauncey Jackson and Cade Wilder added 22 each.
In the pool championship game against Lafayette the Eagles fell to the Commodores 68-52. Cody Jackson and Cade Wilder has 11 a piece while Chauncey Jackson had 10.
The Eagles are back in action at the Tippah County tournament next week beginning January 3rd.
