Panthers jump out early and cruise to 6-1 win over Kossuth

Pine Grove jumped on the baseball early and never looked back in their 6-1 win over Kossuth on Thursday night.

Gehrig Shinall got the start on the mound and picked up the complete game victory. He helped himself on the mound with a 2-RBI single to get the scoring started in the top of the first inning.

Those two runs would prove to be enough for Shinnall and the Panthers.

After working a one-hit bottom of the first inning, the Panthers would add two more runs in the top of the second thanks to a 2-run homer from Carson Rowland.

Pine Grove would add two more runs in the contest after the Aggies went into their bullpen.

The victory moved the Panthers to 14-5 on the year. They are back in action Friday against Vardaman.
