The Ripley Lady Tigers and Pine Grove Lady Panthers opened the season on Monday with a set of Junior High, JV and Varsity matches at the Ripley Event Center.
The Lady Tigers came away with a clean sweep, taking the Junior High match 2-0 (26-24, 25, 23) and the Junor Varsity (25-18, 25-22) before claiming the Varsity match 3-0 (25-13, 25-18,25-13).

Ripley moved to 1-0 while the Lady Panthers fell to 0-1.
Ellis McBride led Ripley with 9 assists and 6 aces. Lexi Page had 6 kills, 4 digs and 3 aces. Reagan Hall led with 9 kills. Sarah Catherine Childs and Autumn Griffin each had 4 kills. Annie Simpson added 3 digs.
The Lady Tigers take on Walnut at home on Tuesday while Pine Grove travels to Ingomar.
