4-H Shooting Sports meeting set for tonight
RIPLEY–If you are a youth, or you’re the parent of a young person between ages 8-18 who loves shooting sports, Mississippi State University Extension is getting ready to begin its 4-H Shooting Sports program.
Those interested can get all the information they need tonight at 7 p.m. inside the Tippah County Fairgrounds Program Hall. Tippah County Extension Service 4-H Agent Casey Moss will conduct the meeting.
The 4-H Shooting Sports program was created with the goal of youth development. According to the program flyer, “Through participation in firearm safety training and shooting sports activities, young men and women are given the opportunity to learn responsibility, sportsmanship, self-discipline, and other qualities critical to the development of productive citizens.”
