The Ripley girls, fresh off of their division championship on Friday, went back to work on Monday in the opening round of the state playoffs.
The Lady Tigers brought the work directly to Mooreville.
Ripley held the Lady Troopers to 9 total points, 2 after haltime to collect the opening round win and coach Steve Willey’s 600th career coaching victory.
The Lady Tigers led 26-7 at halftime but ended the game on a 34-2 run for the 60-9 victory.
The 51 point margin of victory was Ripley’s largest of the season.
Ripley now moves on to face Clarksdale at home on Friday as one of only 16 teams remaining to compete for a state championship.
