Walnut finishes 6th in state in all sports award

The Walnut Wildcats parlayed a pair of state championships into a 6th place finish in the 2A all sports awards.

Walnut was led by a state championship in archery and by golfer Kye Meeks, as well as playoff appearances in multiple sports.

The Wildcats were only 10 points out of the top 5.
